We are excited to announce that we have officially transitioned from paper-based applications to a fully digital, online application system!
To streamline our processes and make submissions easier for everyone, all of our certification applications are now available exclusively as online forms. These include:

8th PCBNH Annual Meeting
The 8th Prevention Certification Board of NH Annual Meeting took place on Thursday, June 11th at the Fox Chapel Conference Room in Concord. PCBNH discussed the Board’s work over the past year and announced the shift to an online application for CPS certification and recertification. The Board also presented the 2026 NH CPS of the Year award to Brian Daniels. The Board is excited to continue their work with the NH prevention community and would like to thank all the NH prevention workers for their tremendous effort and incredible work they’re doing in NH.
6th PCBNH Annual Meeting
The 6th Prevention Certification Board of New Hampshire Annual Meeting took place on Thursday, June 6th at the New Hampshire Audubon in Concord. With about 30 fellow preventionists in attendance from across the state, PCBNH discussed their work over the past year, such as the growth around the inaugural advanced certified prevention specialist role, opportunities for peer review, progress on a new website, as well as the outreach activities done to grow CPS opportunities. The board also celebrated Lisa Vasquez, who was awarded the 2024 CPS of the Year. The event was a wonderful celebration of all the tremendous prevention work being done across the granite state.
The Prevention Certification Board of NH is now offering an advanced credential for certified prevention specialists “Advanced Certification for Prevention Specialists” or ACPS
This advanced credential is for those currently certified as Prevention Specialists (CPS) in NH and are seeking a more advanced certification that involves a focus on organizational leadership and management skills. There are two levels, for those who currently hold the CPS and are initially seeking the advanced credential, and for those who already have the advanced credential (ACPS) and are seeking recertification of their ACPS.

2026 Board Meetings
The Prevention Certification Board of NH meetings are held on the first Thursday every other month from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Below are the dates of the 2026 Board Meetings:

- June 11, 2026
- October 1, 2026
- December 3, 2026
